Alfonso Mejia II, MD is a Clinical Assistant  Professor in the Department of Orthopaedics at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He specializes in hand surgery and microsurgery as well as general orthopaedics and fracture care.

Biography

Dr. Mejia earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and his medical degree from the University of Illinois. He completed his surgical internship and orthopaedic residency at the University of Illinois Medical Center at Chicago, followed by a fellowship in hand surgery at the University of Louisville. He is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, with an added qualification in hand surgery.
